Who We Are
VeteransVille is a 501c3 non-profit community that started in Baltimore, Maryland. The mission of VeteransVille is connecting U.S. Veterans to long-term stable housing while facilitating access to supportive education, employment, and health services. In partnership with Venture Alliance, VeteransVille offers access to furnished, efficiency homes for Veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and support services to increase educational and employment success in the Baltimore region.
We as a nation owe so much of our own opportunities to the Veterans that have fought to protect, defend, and promote American freedom. Sadly, many Veterans return to civilian life without stable housing and face unemployment, untreated
mental health concerns and challenges with reintegrating after their service. Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country deserve the very best our country has to offer in economic and educational opportunities.
Nearly 400,000 U.S. Veterans call Maryland their home, with the highest numbers of Veterans living in the Baltimore metro region. Despite a number of programs that exist to serve Veterans and other homeless individuals in Baltimore, no programs offer long-term, stable housing combined with support services to increase educational and employment success. VeteransVille aims to do just that.
As part of a coordinated system within Baltimore, we provide stable housing and a range of services to address the underlying challenges causing homelessness for our Veterans.
